Q&A with Dr. Campos

Who is your ideal patient and why should they connect with you?

People that participate as a team player during their course of treatment typically do better under our care, specifically, by learning as much as they can about their state of health and being open to recommended lifestyle changes. Especially those that communicate their needs effectively and maintain realistic expectations. If a person exhibits these qualities, we encourage them to consider AMH in their journey to recovery and wellness.

Where do you live? Do you have any family members or pets to include in your bio?

I live in the NW suburbs with my girlfriend and two cats: an attention-loving grey tortoiseshell and a super shy orange tabby.

Share something unique that most people don’t know about you.

Teaching music as a career was my original plan as a high school student… until I took AP Music Theory. I continued to perform in several ensembles in college such as my university’s symphonic wind ensemble, marching band and concert choir, and some pit orchestras along the way. I still enjoy playing my electric drum set at home and my favorite drummer is Antonio Sanchez.

Do you have any other passions or personal goals that you would like to share?

I hold a brown belt in judo, and I am pursuing my black belt. I recently started to play golf, and my goal is to finish an 18-hole course within two business days.

What do you do for fun in your spare time? What are your hobbies?

Besides doing judo and drumming, and tentatively playing golf, I enjoy exploring the food scene in my community and the surrounding areas. I also like watching live bands and musicals, going to comedy clubs, and soaking up the sun.

What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?

Morgue custodian
