What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
What are you surprisingly good at?
Lego architecture sets
How long have you been working in your field?
Before studying Chinese Medicine I became certified in massage therapy in 2004 and as a yoga teacher in 2007.
How does your education connect to your professional career? What about personal experiences?
The impact of illness is something I am familiar with. I was diagnosed with cancer as a teenager. This is what led me to complete my doctoral program that was focused on helping mitigate the side-effects and emotional toll cancer has on individuals. I’ve experienced first hand the importance of healing the person and not just treating the disease.

My ability to listen to patient concerns.
What do you do for fun in your spare time? What are your hobbies?
I love to go hiking, practice yoga and spend time with my family and dogs.
