Dr. Sandra Subotich DAOM LAc MTCM Dipl OM, is a graduate of Five Branches University. She started her training at The World Medicine Institute in Honolulu,Hi then finished her Masters Degree at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, Ca. Dr. Subotich then went on to a 2 year Doctorate Program from Five Branches University at the San Jose, Ca campus, where she received her doctorate and defended her thesis on the effect of acupuncture on pain and parasthesia in multiple sclerosis patients.
Dr. Subotich has been practicing since 2012, at Peoples Integrative Medicine in Santa Cruz, Ca; one of the top integrative clinics in the area incorporating Chinese Medicine, chiropractic, osteopathy, functional medicine and medical massage.
Dr. Subotichʼs practice specializes in orthopedic acupuncture for pain as well as specific protocols and modalities for emotional and psycho spiritual pain/stress as well as traumas.
Dr. Subotichʼs interests also include autoimmune disorders such as fibromyalgia and multiple sclerosis as well as fertility, digestive issues and neuropathy.
Dr. Subotich is also a certified Medical Qi Gong Practitioner; holds a certificate in Advanced Medical Pulse Diagnosis as well as NADA certification for the treatment of addiction. She also holds a bachelors degree in psychology/elementary education from Northeastern Illinois University.
