Dr. Nelson is passionate about educating patients on how to minimize the pain they feel while maximizing and preserving the abilities of their bodies so they can enjoy life to its fullest even after retirement. She believes the correct exercises given at the right time builds up the confidence needed to try new physical activities which leads to greater health. Stretching tight areas of our bodies can help us feel younger again and improves circulation and energy when done with deep breathing.

Q&A with Dr. Nelson

What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?

Personally I am passionate about preserving and protecting our environment, and sustainable farming practices.

Professionally, I am passionate about keeping people independently health and happy well into their retirement years.

What’s the biggest proof that you’re good at what you do?

No need to advertise, as my patients usually return repeatedly and refer friends and family.

What is the weirdest job you’ve ever had?

Dog washer and cinnamon roll maker… you pick which is weirder!

How does your education connect to your professional career? What about personal experiences?

All of my education has been in the science and healthcare field. Personally, my grandmother had Rheumatoid Arthritis which left her bed ridden and she died when I was five from steroid side effects. It left me also looking for a better, more natural way to regaining health. Then when a gluten-free diet fixed my thyroid gland enough so that I didn’t need medication for it, I was hooked on diet and lifestyle as being very important.

What problems do you consistently solve for your clients?

I consistently solve painful joint problems for my clients. Especially ribs and Sacro-iliac issues.

What do you do for fun in your spare time? What are your hobbies?

I like reading up on my ancestors and where I am from. Personal goal is to travel to Europe and see places my ancestors are from and tour castles (not from my ancestors unfortunately lol).

Share something unique that most people don’t know about you.

I have gone whitewater rafting many times, even Class IV rapids, last one was summer of 2020…Ocoee River in TN.
