Hannah Mattson is the clinic manager at Aligned Modern Health in Vernon Hills. Hannah is originally from Lake Bluff, IL and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in health promotion. Hannah is an avid Blackhawks fan and enjoys watching all sports. In her free time, you can find Hannah at the local dog parks with her friends and their pups. She loves all animals and spending quality time with her friends and family.

What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?
Professionally I am passionate about patient care and their experience in the clinic. I truly enjoy making our patients experience as smooth and positive as possible. Personally I am passionate about health education for our youth and the wellness and care of all animals.
What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
One thing I would volunteer to do in a heartbeat would be assisting families with children with cancer in any way they need. (Babysitting, food, clothes- you name it)
What are you surprisingly good at?
I am surprisingly good at crossing my eyes! I have some interesting eye motor control 🙂
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
One thing I cannot live without is dessert- it is good for the soul.
What’s the biggest proof that you’re good at what you do?
The patient feedback is the biggest proof that I’m good at what I do. It always makes my heart warm when patients tell me they appreciate my help, my smile, and let me know how easy I made their experience.
What are you most complimented on in your work?
The things I am most complimented on in my work has to be my smile and my positive energy.
What is your grand, audacious goal? What do you wish people would know, believe, do?
A personal goal of mine this year is to try and donate platelets 25 times. I try to go about every two weeks even though you can go every week! Feel free to ask me about all types of blood donations 🙂
What do you do for fun in your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy dancing, playing volleyball, trail riding horses, spending time with my friends and family. I am slightly competitive so I enjoy playing board games, card games and sports games. I just love being outside to enjoy the fresh air and being around animals as much as possible.
What is something unique that most people don’t know about you?
What most people don’t know about me is that my family used to take in orphaned farm animals like goats and pigs to bottle feed them for two weeks at a time when I was growing up!
