Lana is a new transplant to Chicago, hailing from Grand Rapids, MI. She attended Grand Valley State University and received a Bachelor’s in both Allied Health and Spanish Language. Since graduation, she has enjoyed working in a variety of roles in the healthcare field and also spent over a year living abroad in Madrid, Spain. She loves to read and learn about all health topics, especially those related to non-traditional health care. Her favorite ways to stay active are tennis, beach volleyball, and yoga.

What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?
Professionally, I am very passionate about healthcare and making a positive impact in today’s healthcare system. Personally, I am passionate about saving the planet (and traveling!).
What three traits define you?
Driven, compassionate, and organized.
What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
Work in healthcare! I love being able to use my multitasking and organizational skills to support practitioners in their roles. I would also do any kind of work with kids or dogs for free, too.
What are you surprisingly good at?
Remembering small details.
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
Besides my family/friends, music!
What’s your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment is moving to Spain all by myself and only knowing a little Spanish – best experience of my life!
What are you complimented on most in your work?
I am often complimented on my ability to stay calm in hectic situations and my positivity.
Who is your ideal client and why should they connect with you?
Any client is my ideal client! I love working with and around people who are committed to their health and willing to try new things.
What is your grand, audacious goal? What do you wish people would know, believe, do?
I aspire to be fluent in Spanish one day and travel to at least one new place each year! I wish more people would open their eyes to alternative healthcare and all its benefits.
What do you do for fun in your spare time? What are your hobbies?
My favorite ways to stay active are beach volleyball, tennis, and walking by Lake Michigan. I love to read, attend concerts, and explore Chicago with my friends.
