About Rania

Rania was born and raised in Chicago. She is a 2004 graduate of The Chicago School of Massage Therapy. Since graduation, she continued to study and learn in a variety of settings, growing her knowledge and skills, to allow her to better create your individualized, ideal massage. Rania will take a few moments to talk with, and listen carefully to you and then develop a therapy session specially designed for your needs that day. Whether that is therapeutic, injury relief or relaxation, she will provide a massage to suit you.

She is Nationally Board Certified and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Rania loves the healing arts, and continues to devote time to learn new ways to help her clients. In addition to being a Reiki Master, she holds additional certifications in Pre-Natal, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Comfort Touch, and Pediatric Massage.

Educating people on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care.

Working with children.

What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?

Theatre

What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?

The support of my family and friends.

How long have you been working in your field?

16 years

What’s your biggest accomplishment?

When I was selected to be part of the Liddle Kidz Global Volunteer Massage Team in 2012 and traveled to Vietnam to provide nurturing touch to the kiddos and help train caregivers to provide nurturing touch.

What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?

I was a performer in a children’s Halloween show and handled spiders, snakes, and scorpions.

How does your education connect to your professional career?

My education in theatre made me better able to communicate. My education in science and massage gave me the basis to grow and learn more about the human body and how to help clients affect change.

What problems do you consistently solve for your clients?
The issues associated with upper cross syndrome. The reduction in anxiety through the use of massage and self-care techniques.

In your work or creative process, what concepts are sacred? Which rules have you made, which ones do you follow?

Do the research so I know the facts. Speak the truth. We are all in this together.

Do you have any family members or pets to include in your bio?

I have two cats Salem a Sphynx and Saffron a Dwelf.

I learned how to dance with a Sword.
