At Aligned Modern Health, we love promoting an active lifestyle! What better way to do this than to have our providers share their favorite exercises.

This week, our Wicker Park Chiropractic Physician, Dr. Tanya Freseth tried out 9Round Kickbox Fitness! 9Round is a specialized fitness center for people who want a unique, fun, and proven workout that guarantees results. 9Round offers a kickboxing themed fitness program that incorporates a functional, interval, cardiovascular, and circuit training regimens. The programs consist of a proprietary system of nine challenging workout stations developed by a World Champion Kickboxer.

This workout is unique because you can see max results in 30 minutes —with combined cardio, strength, and ab training for a full body training. The fast-paced class has each participant flow through 9 different stations: strength, kickboxing fitness, abs, and core, making your workout complete!  The studio allows you to show up at your convenience, there are no class times, allowing those with flexible schedules to participate.

Dr. Freseth loves this workout for the great core stability along with endurance and cardio. We also love this workout because it aids in releasing toxins as you sweat, allowing you to release feel-good endorphins. The fast-paced cardio strengthens your heart and relieves stress. These are only a few of the reasons why we love 9-Round Kickboxing. Frequent cardio activity can also increase energy, improve sleep, and much more!

If anything is preventing you from feeling your best and staying active, we’re here to help. Book an appointment with our team of experts today.
