Q&A with Dr. Shane Bruni

What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?

Professionally I am most passionate about empowering people to be confident in their own abilities to improve their health. Personally, I am most passionate about spending quality time with my 1yr old son.

What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?

Adjustments aka “cracking” backs/necks. It’s my favorite part of the job. The relief people get from a great adjustment is the best.

What are you surprisingly good at?

Accents or impressions. I have a decent Adam Sandler and Christopher Walken impression.

What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?

Either working as a hot dog cook at Portillo’s or pouring beer at the Brewers spring training games.

What problems do you consistently solve for your clients?

Neck and back pain are my bread and butter, but I have found myself solving knee issues constantly. There is nothing more frustrating than constant knee pain, but there is hope!

Who is your ideal client and why should they connect with you?

I enjoy treating anyone and everyone, but I’m always excited to work with athletes, mainly because I love participating in sports myself. They should connect with me because I’ve had every ache and pain imaginable from constant athletics, so I know the best tips to not only stay out of pain, but also perform at the highest level.

What do you do for fun in your spare time? What are your hobbies?

I love to spend my spare time with my family, hanging out with my 1yr old son, golfing, hiking, or working out. If I’m stuck inside I like to read books on personal growth, watch tv series (Breaking Bad is my favorite), play video games, or do yoga.
