Q&A WITH ADRIAN

What three traits define you?

Determined, Curious, Adaptable

What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?

Dancing (most performances that I currently do, my dance group does not get paid for anyways!)

What are you surprisingly good at?

Dancing

What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?

My partner and our kids.

What’s the biggest proof that you’re good at what you do?

My past work ethic and life path.

What’s your biggest accomplishment?

Being able to graduate school while working full-time and taking care of my oldest daughter, preparing for my second daughter to enter the world, and co-direct a dance group.

How does your education connect to your professional career? What about personal experiences?

Having a degree in Exercise Science has allowed me to accel in personal training. The skills and education that I have learned can easily be transferred over to being a Rehabilitation Specialist.

What are you complimented on most in your work?

Being thoughtful and caring.

In your work or creative process, what concepts are sacred? Which rules have you made, which ones do you follow?

In my work, I have also made sure to teach and learn things at a slow, steady, and considerate pace. This ensures that the client or I can learn/perform things properly and that errors in the future can be prevented that way.

Do you have any other passions of personal goals that you would like to share?

I have a strong passion for dance. Though most would see it as a waste of time as you get older, I find it to be a part of my self-care. It’s the one thing that keeps me sane and allows me to be around people who make time for the same passion even with a full-time career. I also have a passion for cars and I’ve raced my car in autocross and I plan to do a few more this upcoming summer.

Share something unique that most people don’t know about you.

If I have some spare time or am not too tired, I am also a driver for Lyft!
